5. What are your thoughts regarding the character Orfeo? Who is "the exalted one" that he so often speaks of, and what is "the blessed sap"?

    Yeah, no one has commented on this because if you are all like me, I have NO CLUE!

    He is one strange literary creation that is for sure. Is he talking about God and the Holy Spirit? Sometimes I think so, sometimes not. Maybe it is an Italian thing...;P
